It's strawberry time again!

This week the kids and I went strawberry picking again. Just driving by the fields smelled heavenly. We carpooled with a friend so I wasn't brave enough to let Eric go wild, so I restrained him in the stroller with a drink and a strawberry every now and again. Lisa did much better this year - not nearly as messy and I think only about a quarter of the ones she ate were either green or rotten. We picked a big cooler full of berries and then the fun began at home making jam, freezing and eating them before they went bad.

This week both kids hit big milestones. Eric figured out how to climb up on the couch. The first time I saw him up there I thought Scott must have forgotten him up there, so I set him on the floor and he proceeded to climb right back up again and clap for himself. It was pretty cute and funny. Lisa is now able to buckle up her own carseat. It takes her a little while sometimes, but now she knows she can do it she rarely will let me do it for her.

Oh, I just remember something she said this morning that had me rolling on the floor. When I was taking a shower and getting ready she was watching Sesame Street. When it was over she came in and said "Sesame street was brought to you in part by... (some nonsense words)" then she said "You can go to PBSKids dot org and click on share" At this point I was laughing and asked her if she knew what that meant, she smiled and said "No" It was pretty funny - I guess it's a good thing it was only Sesame Street and not some bad show she was watching.

Sorry this is kind of long. Hope you all had a good week!
